1.
VERSE 1: I just wanna get in But the door won't move. Ain't looking for sin, I ain't trying to prove. You wanna know my game, how about you figure out yours. You're just another dame, I think I'll head for the door. And if you know me, I ain't looking for you. Bu I just can't tell, would you notice if I am blue. CHORUS: I am perfectly content to rest on my laurels I miss the time we spent, Fleeing from our morals. Eyes drawn to you. Ours meet, but only for a second. I ain't in the mood, To be, lost in your perfection. VERSE 2: Looking for old friends, Nowhere to be found. Looking out the ends, I got my head in the clouds. Well I thought I knew me, but I don't know you. But I just can't tell, would you notice if I am blue. CHORUS x2
2.
Jaded 03:55
VERSE 1: 24-Hour news, it's streamin' in my ears. 24-Hour news, I'm living in a state of fear. What am I supposed to believe, I thought I put my faith in truth. Shrugged off the cold embrace of these old chains of youth. CHORUS: If you're not jaded, you're not paying attention. The mother of invention won't ease your mind. VERSE 2: Too many hounds hounding my thoughts, rattlin' through my mind. Too many hounds hounding my thoughts, but I feel fine. These neon signs scream out with words I can't describe. It seems these suburban dreams are quickly passing by. CHORUS VERSE 3: Driving, striving, criticizing, I'm lying on my back and I'm paralyzed. Driving, striving, criminalized, My ships about to sail and I'm realizing. CHORUS
3.
Fool's Gold 03:36
VERSE 1: Girl what are you doin’, what are you runnin’ from. And how is it I’m treated, like I’m some kind of bum. Whoa, whoa, all told, you’re fool’s gold. CHORUS: Why you gotta be that way? Can’t you hear the things that I’m sayin’? Oh, but you say I’m so sweet, then why am I not one to keep. VERSE 2: Occupy my mind, with a thousand worldly things. But any hint of affection, and I’m still hanging on your sleeve. Whoa, whoa, been told, two fold. CHORUS OUTRO: Seems you don’t have a clue about my point of view. I know you know it’s true, there’s nothing left to do.
4.
VERSE 1: Fall asleep in my hand, I just wanna see you. Disappear, and fade to black. I just wanna see you. And I’ll say it again. CHORUS: Never want to see them, I never want to see them, Never want to see them again. But just say the words, and I will. I’m never gonna tell, Never gonna tell, I’m never gonna tell my friends. But if they already know, then I will. VERSE 2: Sticks and stones can build a home, but my words they fail me. So take this down, for your book the words have just escaped me. And they’ll do it again, and again, and again. CHORUS SOLO SECTION: Trumpet noises. Doot doot. CHORUS

about

This is our first EP written by us and recorded in our basement by us. It's not perfect, we have very little idea how to record or mix music. Pairs well with a merlot, or an IPA if you're a beer person. Okay.

Head for the Door and Just Wanna See You recorded 2014 at Moberg "Studios," Rock Island, Quad Cities, Illinois, Midwest, USA, Earth

Jaded and Fool's Gold recorded 2015 at The Aviary, Rock Island, Quad Cities, Illinois, Midwest, USA, Moon (JK, actually on Earth lol, the vacuum of space is not suited for recording)

Engineered and Produced by John Stenger and Stephen Dempsey

Artwork by everybody in the band, it was a group effort.

Thanks everybody for the support! Especially thanks to our friends and family for putting up with the racket.
